The annual transfer capacity of LNG is 11 million tons. The total land area is 879 mu, the total sea area used is 262.66 hectares, and the total investment is approximately 11.5 billion yuan. The receiving station was constructed in three phases successively and was fully put into operation in 2023.
If a cold energy air separation unit is constructed relying on the reserved land on the west side of Qingdao LNG Receiving Station (with an area of 37 mu), and the design of a typical scale unit is adopted, after the project is completed, it can achieve a daily production of 715.5 tons of liquid products (350 tons of liquid oxygen, 350 tons of liquid nitrogen, and 15.5 tons of liquid argon), and the utilization amount of LNG cold energy is approximately 80 tons per hour.
